Rachel Farhat grew up in Pennsylvania but moved to North Carolina as a young teenager, where her faith journey began to take shape. Though she was raised in church, frequent church hopping during her childhood left her confused about what she believed. It wasn’t until her teenage years that she came to a saving faith in Christ and felt a clear call to ministry. Rachel later earned a B.S. in Education from Southeastern Free Will Baptist College and has been faithfully involved at New Life Church since marrying her high school sweetheart, Fuad, eight years ago. Together, they have two children: Atticus (4) and Adeline, who will turn one on October 31. She currently teaches High School English and Bible at New Bern Christian Academy, and finds joy in singing, spending time with her family, ministering to others, and having meaningful conversations. Rachel is overjoyed to be able to teach the Word of God to women at this year’s Renew Her Conference.
